clients / university of derby

The University of Derby project is a replacement to their original new-building facility featuring 5 x high performance
Studio areas installed by us on a full design & build 10 week contract. Above is Studio 1 Control Room with their Neve Console, 5.1 surround monitoring and Protools system. Finishes were in Oak with completion July 2012.

Live Room 1 is a large space with viewing to both main Control Rooms. As Main Contractor, our works included HVAC, Electrical works, Audio tie-lines and Technical Furniture.

Live Room 2 is the smaller recording area adjacent to Control Room 2 and suits the smaller band set-ups or single artist.

Control Room 2 - C24, Protools and 5.1 surround. All rooms have the feature low level lighting for mood.

Studio 1 with Neve desk and numerous tie-lines everywhere.

One of 3 x Programming areas for 1-2 student offline sound design and editing. The workstation is from our
standard range of Oak furniture products.

The 4 x feature panels in Live Room 1 are high performance diffusers to help create a well balanced acoustic response.
